A MESSAGE FROM CUSTOMIZED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PRESIDENT….

As a local resident of Macomb, I started my company 35+ years ago under the name of Construction Plus. As a vendor servicing multiple management companies, Condominium Associations, Homeowner Associations, Cooperatives and Apartment Communities, Construction Plus provided services such as: landscaping services
including mowing, mulch installation, flower installation, edging and shrub trimming; drywall repairs, sump pump replacement; building painting; wood replacement and general maintenance services. As I built trusted relationships with the communities we serviced, many of them asked if I would take on the day-to-day management of their community.


With those requests in mind, I established Customized Property Management. In efforts to best service my clients, I researched accounting software packages. We use Condo Manager. It was developed in conjunction with board member input to supply the best tools and reports that Board members want to see. I also employed the best management business professionals to help run my company. We take pride in being
selective with the sites we manage allowing a more personal, hands-on management style. We are available to service our clients in a manner no longer seen in today’s climate.


Our team of managers promote transparency in our work; we communicate timely and efficiently with your co-owners and Boards of Directors. Our managers work with a wide variety of trusted contractors to aid in the maintenance of each community or, if preferred, we can work with contractors that you would like to continue to use. We offer emergency services before and after office hours with live operators answering the
calls. Customized Property Management managers are experienced in working with your reserve study to best manage your future needs as well as keeping track of your co-owner contact information, leases, insurance renewals, vehicles, and pet registration. Our managers work with multiple insurance agents who specialize in Condominium and HOA insurance coverage and who offer the best prices in the industry.


Our accounting department cuts checks locally and pays invoices biweekly or as needed. They take pride in their efforts to communicate with delinquent co-owners to bring accounts current. Financial reports are delivered electronically to board members with supporting documentation prior to the 15th of each month. We keep a database of vendor W-9 forms and insurance certificates to aid in the timely completion of tax preparation, annual report filings, and insurance audits. and believe we are “Increasing the Value of your Investment.”
